September 2023 Holidays to Know

September 2023 Awareness Months

National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

There are a few health and wellness awareness campaigns this month. National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is one that may speak to your audience. I suggest looking at all of the health-related campaigns for September and choosing one to champion. You could do this in a number of different ways!

Your blog could discuss the science behind the disease and its treatment options. You could familiarize yourself with and promote a charity fund associated with the disease. Many diseases or disorders have 5ks or charity runs – search in your area and see if any are occurring locally to you! You could also do a meet-up of local blog readers and promote it on your social media accounts.

Whatever you decide to do, make sure you are being authentic. Is there a health and wellness topic you have personal experience with in September? Is there a topic that fits more with your brand? How can you and your blog help to bring more awareness to this health issue?

Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month

National Self-Care Awareness Month

National Suicide Prevention Month

Promoting the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (dial 988, 24 hours a day) is so important! Use your platform to convey essential information about suicide prevention and what your readers can do to help. Write your post with your audience and brand in mind: if you are a mommy blogger, discuss why back-to-school time is tough on adolescents and what moms can do to help their children. If you are a travel blogger, discuss suicide prevention in your current country. As a health and fitness blogger, you could discuss the impact of fitness on depression.

Pain Awareness Month

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Awareness Month

World Alzheimer’s Disease Month

Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month

Alopecia Awareness Month
