Copywriting vs. Copyright

I’m going to let you in on a little secret!

I know nothing about copyright.

And the good thing is, I don’t need to!

Copywriting or copyright?

It’s easy to mix the two up – I mean, they sound exactly the same. I’m a copyWRITER, not a copyRIGHT expert. As a copywriter, I do all kinds of things revolving around creating copy (or text) for online service providers.

Copyright is typically something lawyers handle for businesses. (I wish I could tell you more, but, again, I am not an expert on this one!)

I love being a copywriter. I get to spend time researching common questions and challenges your audience might face. These types of things may end up in a blog post you have me create, or on your website’s sales page. I get to use my writing to communicate how your service addresses your audience pain points, and share exactly why you are the best fit for your ideal client. If your current sales page doesn’t explain those things, it sounds like your website is ready for an update, check out my services.

Lastly, I work hard to make sure every piece of writing I create for myself and my clients includes a clear call to action. If you have a blog, social media account, or a sales page, you absolutely need a call to action. Not sure if you have one? Contact me about how to work together to level up your copy!
